Camping Osenbach

Friday. Out of season - pretty quiet but they don’t accept stays of one night only. Shame as I got right up to the site after driving several hundred kilometres to here. Was turned away, quite late in the afternoon. Three night minimum.

Really nice welcome to the campsite by Raphael, its a beautiful campsite with lots of shade created by the oak tree wood so we enjoyed our stay here very much. Facilities were good and all very clean, we came late season so most were shut which is understandable but they have two locations across the campsite and made sure some were open at each location. Close to Colmar you can cycle in 1hr no problem through beautiful wine country.

Me and my brother had a very nice stay at this camping. We like quiet and natural campings. Nearby great hiking and biking opportunities what was the main reason to go for this camping. Also the owner/teams speaks english, what makes it easier if you aren't familiar with the French language. And also very helpful in advising en giving suggestions on very nice hikes, what we appreciated very much. All the facilities are there and clean. Only the light in the showers turn off very quick. No toiletseats on the toilet. No toiletpaper and a holder or something to leave your paper on. The breadservice is also very welcome. Because we went there in the end of august we had some nice choices for picking our sweet spot.
