NordseeCamping zum Seehund is a spacious campsite located directly behind the North Sea dike, offering a variety of amenities and facilities. The pitches for motorhomes are flat, with a mixture of gravel and grass, and are close together with hedges providing some wind protection. Electricity, fresh water, and gray water disposal are available. Nearby, a wind turbine can be heard but does not disrupt the tranquility of the campsite. For children, there are playgrounds, a fireplace, and a bathing pond to enjoy. The campsite is only a 5-minute walk from the North Sea bathing area, where guided mudflat hikes begin. The reception, located a minute's walk away, has a mini market offering bread rolls, groceries, and toiletries, as well as bicycle and e-bike rentals. The modern sanitary facilities, a 2-minute walk from the campsite, provide soap, toilet paper, a hairdryer, and amenities such as a cassette cleaning machine, washing machine, dryer, sauna, and fitness area. The shower rooms were recently renovated in 2023.
