The Chequers Caravan Park - Campsite Dover

Our first ever caravanning trip! We booked close to home for our first adventure. This site was highly recommended to us by seasoned caravanners, and it didn’t disappoint in anyway. Lovely peaceful setting with easy main road access. Super clean site and facilities with onsite toilets available along with electric hook up, drinking water and chemical toilet disposal. Dog friendly on leads and has a lovely ‘woodland walk’ area for a gentle stroll. Also has a kids play area in full view of the pitches. Most of all, the site owners are so friendly and helpful. Such a wonderful experience that we’ve booked to return in under 2 weeks time 💕

We had a tent with us and had an amazing time, staff were so friendly and helped out so much when we needed it. Toilets were so nice and clean. Just a really nice atmosphere in the area. Would happily visit again

The Chequers caravan site we have used twice now and will continue to do so. It is very useful when using the channel tunnel. Amazing site, amazing pitches, facilities are very clean and tidy. Most of all the owners are very happy to see you and can’t be anymore helpful. They make you feel very welcome. :-) Nice local pub down the road and small Tesco shop. We will be back :-)
