Stadscamping Schoonhoven

Friendly to us and our dog. Good clean facilities. Showers included in price, but the warm water could have been warmer... Very well situated, just a few minutes walk from the nice town. Good washing machine and dryer - 6 euro for both together. Beware though that you must park your car outside premises on a public parking if you have a caravan. To us that was inconvenient since we have our golf equipment in the car, and also our dog uses the car sometimes during the day to relax. However, after a few days we appreciated that there were no cars on the field. It made it calm and beautiful. So maybe it is a good idea after all. (But first time we encountered this) I recommend this camping and will return.

The "Rheinschwimmer" team happened to stop here with Joseph Hess on their way from Switzerland to the North Sea. We received a very, very friendly welcome here! We were also offered services that were not self-evident, such as washing laundry, self-roasted coffee (!), etc. Everything has been done here to make us feel comfortable as . Thanks

We camped here one night with a tent on our bicycle trip. Great place to stay (we would have liked to stay longer) there are top camping spot to camp right on the Lek, a beach, the toilets and showers are very clean and a great welcome from the owners. Alsoe a very nice and good coffee place in the camping.
