Camping Los Alcornocales is a quiet and affordable place with clean facilities and bathrooms. It offers a restaurant and a site for filling up water tanks and emptying grey and black waters. There are more lighted pitches, although there is only one water tap per street. The indoor pool is closed in winter.

Very quiet campsite in a natural park. The staff is friendly and helps with everything. Many interesting mountain routes for cycling and walking. Nearby is an old castle on the top.

The campground has a bar/restaurant which is popular with the locals, and serves very good tapas (as well as full meals), and the usual typical Spanish breakfast, and the staff are very friendly. The staff at reception were also all really nice, and gave great advice on hiking in the area. The start of the hiking trail along the river begins very close to the campsite which is great, and town is only about a 20 minute walk. We really enjoyed both Jimena and the campground and will be back in the spring. Just a side n (...)
